I am going to be making a lap quilt and was wondering if the fabric needs to be washed prior to it being cut?? What do I need to do to my fabric prior to it being cut?? help~SOS~help I just want to get to cutting!!! ![]() mgf~ ![]() Blessings & Smiles

I always wash mine. Some people don't.

I was asked that very same question by a friend who is starting to quilt not too long ago. Her next question was: Do I need to iron the fabric too? The way I see things, if one person has a question to ask then a lot of people have the same question. Yes, the fabric also needs to be ironed.
