I have another funeral to go to this week. It's the third one this year and they tell me that there is going to be a fourth one after this one in the same family soon. My husbands Grandmother who is 90 passed away this morning and her baby daugther, my husbands Aunt has hospice at her home in Memphis now and they made funeral arrangements this week for her because she is not going to make the week. This is my MIL's Sister and her Mother. My MIL passed away 7 years ago. Both services are going to be in Hattiesburg, MS so I will be able to attend if it doesn't fall on the same day as the baby shower. This year has not started out too well. I hope Feb. is better. |

Susie -- The summer of 2004 was like that for us -- right on the heels of a similar summer in 2002. Those babies have got to be a blessing, reminding you that life does go on. I'm so sorry for your losses. Dorothy |

I know how you are feeling Susie. Planning to attend a funeral for someone still alive is kind of eirie to me. That is what we have been doing with my BIL. he probably won't last through Feb. The year the movie "4 weddings & a funeral" came out we had 4 funerals & a wedding that summer. Good luck to you & your family. I hope all goes well with the shower & the new baby. Barb

Hey Hey Hey, I'm holding up okay for now. LOL I just finished a crib caddy to go on the end of the crib to put powder and things in. I thought I was finished but I decided to do one up for the Grandbaby that was born in Sept. She's getting so big. She's 4 months and weights 15 pounds. She's starting to laugh and smile really big when you talk to her. I will have my Grandson who is 11 while Daddy and his step Mom are at the hospital. They are taking her in to start the drip tomorrow night at 8:00PM and my son wants me there from the start so I guess it's going to be an all nighter Wednesday night and maybe an all dayer depending on how she does. She got a lot of things for the shower, not many big things but she had most of those things from her sister who had twins 2 years ago. So she's set. She got lots of clothes for the baby so that was great. She got serveral gift cards from Baby's R Us to get the things she didn't get. I didn't get pics of the things I made her so I'll have to get those later. I'm having to close out the computer now the thunder is getting closer to me and I'm scared my computer will get fried if I don't. I'll write tomorrow before we go. I'm a little excited but it's # 7 so I'm getting to be an old pro at this. Thanks ya'll for asking. Her name will be Trinatte Marie Moore. |
