I am looking at the finished pockets which look really good.
Actually the problem had nothing to do with sewing the pockets -- It was cutting the innerfacing. I had to do it three times to get it right.
I was about ready to quit sewing for the day.
But they are done now and look good.

No-body understands " ^%*#ing or ....%$@$%@* pockets" like another sewer, and sympathy just flows across the Internet to you..

I had one of those ^%*# moments yesterday also.I was making myself a jacket, got the sleeves in great tried it on ,the sleeves are too tight & no fabric left to fix them. I put ot to the side worked on the pants. The idea finaly came to me that I will take off the sleeves & make it into a vest. It will take a little work but I think it will look OK. That's what I get for not fitting the pattern everytime.

Sometimes I feel like I've made a garment twice because it seems like I have to take out every seam and do it again!
And it's not the pocket it's the pocketer. That's what makes it worse -- just stupidity!
Well it's done now and I can finish this thing.

I have a beautiful (well I hope someday it will be so) jacket that has been in a bag half done for about 9 months now b/c I am totally frustrated with the collar. perhaps I will pull it out today and give it another go! no pockets on it though! :nah:
