Have any of you ladies seen a cd/machine disk that has the looney tunes characters on it or do you know of a website that has these patterns for sale?

Patsy, I went to the big sites like oesd, cactus punch, amazing designs and they don't carry it so anything on ebay will be illegal as that is a huge copyright design.

I've looked at all the same sites Jo. As far as E-Bay, I'm not interested in buying something illegal and then not being able to use it on my machine and I understand that there are a lot of people that have picked up some ugly viruses on their computers from the illegal software they purchased from E-Bay because it was cheap. I'm not interested in destroying my machine or my computer. It's not worth the cheap price. In fact, my DH had to rebuild my computer when we bought the Futura Embroidery machine because in loading the software for the machine, we discovered that my computer had picked up a virus in the short time between DH erasing and deciding and downloading a new virus software for my computer. It cost in excess of $150 to get my computer cleaned up and back online. So I'm not interested in doing that again any time soon.

The rumor is that the some of the companies that own copywrites on those types of designs are not going after the seller but the buyer BIG TIME. You don't want to tangle with the big corporations. Using the court systems, you can get fined, jail time, loose all of your sewing/embroidery equipment and any computers you own. That's pretty hefty stuff. There is probably a lot more profit in going after the buyer that the seller...more money to gain because one seller can have many buyers.

Pam I work for the Attorney General's office so no one has to tell me about e-bay and some of the scams people have had pulled on them purchasing stuff through e-bay. Our consumer hot-lines are full of people day in and day out filing complaints about e-bay and being scammed out of money or buying things that other people didn't actually have the right to sell.

Nah, I'm really easy going. I just have good info sources available about some areas that others don't have available to them, i.e., scam artists operating on E-Bay. In case you guys aren't aware of it, it is totally illegal to buy computer software, copy it and furnish other people with the same software. Software manufacturers are beginning to do the same thing that copyright owners are doing. The seller or person doing the illegal copying and sharing will probably not get caught, it will be the guys that load and use the copied/illegal software that will get slammed. So, beware!!! All of the software dh and I are running on our computers is completely legal and registered with the appropriate software owners. It's a little more expensive to do it that way, but you can be a computer nerd/junkie and feel completely safe about it.

I found licensed disney designs at the above site.... I didn't read whether you need a 'box' to change the designs to your machine format. Hope these help.
I just went to google and typed in machine embroidery disney designs for sale.

Hi all,

I happen to know that Microsoft is going after the shops for offering illegal or not licenced software. I just completed three mystery shops here in the Netherlands, inquiring if they would be willing to install a copy of Microsoft products to cut the cost of a computer, so it is not just the buyers they are after.
And on ebay, there is a way to report to Ebay if people are selling copies of licenced items, this is what I have: <email address removed for privacy> you have to give the item number, seller id and explain the reason. They will probably only remove the item or reprimand the seller, but next time they will think twice about listing.

Dodie, you are right. Allbrands is fine and quite often has very good prices. E-Bay can be a dangerous place to buy though.
