I want to say everyone has really done well with their quilt blocks. There has been some very nice work done. With such a rocky start, it sure has been a pleasure to sew along with everyone.

One question, Jo, what fabrics did you use for that Rocking Horse baby quilt and where did you get them? It's adorable.

have to agree Mary, everyone has done a superb job

If not mistaken Mary that was Patrick Lose fabric I used on the rocking horse. The designs are from various designers..

Its more like teaching in laws to notice the people who MARRY into the family rather than be born into it..............but finding another quilter (who also married into the family) in the family to share patterns and information with has raised my approval rating somewhat.............LOL

I have the joy and delight of sharing my MIL love of sewing and knitting - she has given me some fabulous patterns of Long Ago and I sewed my wedding dress on her machine. Thanks for doing the albums - they are a real lift.

Oklahomanana we're all actually kin cause we "quiltin' sisters"! The new Midwest City, Oklahoma quilt guild is called the Mid-Del Stitchin' Sisters. One of the nice perks to this guild is that we get 10% discount off at all the Hancock Fabric stores on everything.

Hi Dody,
When I was younger I thought everyone should have a nickname....so I gave my mom the nickname dodie (for Doris) and my sister "minnie" cause she has big brown eyes... somehow over the years I ended up with moms nickname  I still call mom dodie, but she calls me dodie too...
Love your nicknames.

Dodie, That is a neat story. Did you notice we have the same avatar? COOL! Must go with the name, huh? Have a warm day! My twin and I also had another nickname growing up and it was biggin and littlin. I was the smaller one THEN but NOT anymore! LOL!
