i am trying to make a king size quilt for a friend and i have a pattern that i really like that i think she will like also, the issue is that the finshed size is 94 1/2 x 94 1/2 and i need it to be 108 x 108 how do i adjust the yardage. to make up the difference.

the pattern is in the march issue of the quilter magazine it is the garden dream. i know how to adjust the batting and the backing. it is the squares i am not sure how much i will need i don't want to way over buy but then i want to have enough. can anyone help  i suck at math and spelling.

Ok, can't seem to put the link on here but if you go to www.TheQuilter' and click on "starting quilting" there is a page to help with yardage. She has a link there that takes you to a page with a fabric calculator.

Hope this helps,
