I am looking for Travel cases for Bernina 200E.
I need the case for the machine and one for the embroidery machine.

Anybody know of a cheaper place to get them besides at Bernina ( $376.00 )

Thanks,
Nece

Try Ebay. Sometimes you can find things there cheaper.

The Bernina cases are pretty good (expensive but good). I have heard of a few people that have had problems with them but they were replaced by the company. There is a lot of extra padding in the cases to make sure that the machine fits tightly within the case. It also allows you to pack most of your accessories into the case with the machine in padded compartments. I've packed my machine back and forth to dealer for multiple lessons and meetings and the cases look like new eventhough I drag them across the yard and up and down steps and across the packing lot.

The embroidery module is difficult to fit and it is also pretty delicate. It is an odd size and it shouldn't be loose in the case. If you don't get the whole thing, you may want to see if you can just buy that portion alone.

P.S. Don't pick your 200 machine up by putting your hand under the neck of the machine. That is where the majority of the internal software of the machine is located and although it is protected, it just isn't a great idea according to my Bernina tech.

Thanks to both of you for your advise

I have found 2 cases that fit the Bernina and has all the padding for a 1/3 of the price.
My friend has the same machine and bought these cases and loves them.

Have a great day!

Great that you found something that will fit your bill. The main thing is that you find something that protects your machine. You just have way too much riding on that!
