I have a brother PE 300 and am enjoying it very much. I have recently started adding machine embroidery to my quilts. I understand that if I had a reader/writer box I could download patterns from the internet etc. I have no idea which one to buy. I have been doing some research and the prices vary considerably. Most of the embroidery I do is for my grandchildren and nieces and nephews. They of course have a wide variety of interests and I would like to be able to address their particular interests. I am not necessarily looking for the cheapest, but would like something that will be useful. I would appreciate any help I can get.

I have the Ultimate Box that I use with my Brother PE 150. I have found it very easy to use. I also have Embird. But I do download designs and use with the ultimate box.
