I am trying to make the Storm at Sea block and I am having some problems. The pattern I have calls for two triangles 2 5/8 by 5 5/8 joined. I cannot seem to get them the right size. They join 2 1/2 squares. I assume the finished block should measure 2 3/8 by 5 3/8. Any help would be appreciated. |

Can you tell I'm new at this? In the pattern I have the diamond block is made up of 4 rectangles. The rectangles are made of two triangles. I'm not sure if I am explaning this right, but I can't seem to join the triangles. I'm not sure if I am streching the bias edge (I'm trying not to) or what. I appeciate any help I can get. |
