Sorry for all the weird people on the site lately. Seems they all got loose at the same time. Sheesh. :monkey:

I have never seen so many in one week.

Seriously though, I know how you feel Mary. I do relief duty on our switchboard at work (Oklahoma Attorney General's Office) and some days we feel like they've opened the doors to every mental hospital in the state. :re: People seem to think the Attorney General does everything from settling domestic disputes to supervising dog catchers. When I'm on that board an entire day, I feel like I need to be committed.

we get em at my dr's office i work at all the time too...you can almost tell when its a full moon...and when some just havent taken their meds...between the pts coming in and them keeping you on the phone its bad...i mean when i call a office to make an appt..i make the appt and thats pretty much it...if the days not good we pick another...i dont discuss with the person on the other line about how monday wont be good because i need to go get a colonoscopy.(sp) done, or that my husband has an appt on wednesday to get his prostate checked, do we have anything avail then?? its so amazing what they tell you..ive actually had to cut people off with "so what your trying to do is make an appt..lets see whats good." im not trying to be rude, but i dont need to hear about your other drs appts, and i really dont have time to sit here and chat about how your grandkid has to go to the dr and you have to babysit..blah blah blah...its scary

When I worked in the newspaper office we would get certain people that would call regularly -- real nut cases. It was standard policy to transfer their calls to the newest reporter. A kind or initiation for the new guy.
