Mary, the magazine you mentioned in your newsletter, Ottobre for Kids, can you tell me a bit more about it? Does it have patterns right in the magazine or do you have to order them. Does it have articles about sewing, etc. I have never heard of it but being that I am now a new grandma, I can see I may get a lot out of it. The website doesnt give a lot of info about the magazine. Can you buy it somewhere or do you have to order it from Europe. Thanks very much for the info, Laura

The patterns are in the magazine just like Burda. You have to trace off the one you need in the proper size. It doesn't have articles on sewing but they give instructions on bellows pockets this season because they are so popular. They also show some neat overlocking ideas. Instead of bar tacking on a little girls dress, they show tiny embroidered hearts. For neat logos they explain fabric painting. Their one and only US distributor is www.woolythread.com MaryW

It's a very neat magazine with some nice patterns. You just have to be patient enough to trace off the ones you need.
