Seeking your thoughts and information on making the drop down awnings you mentioned in one of your posts. Did you have the frames and made new covers or do you start from scratch? Can you tell us about the fabric you used? My dh restored an older Corvette a few years back and I recovered his seats for him. This summer he is redoing his 3rd boat and I'll be starting some coushions soon. BUT, the awnings would be for ME!! I'm in the deep south and these are for an east facing screened in porch so even though fading of the fabric is a concern, it could be worse. Really what I want is something to keep out most of the rain we get all summer long mostly every day!

I would also like to hear how she did them!!! I have been thinking about making some for out south facing windows.
