I've seen reference to this a few times recently, but I don't know what it means. Would someone please explain?
Many thanks,
Amy

Stitching in the ditch is another way of putting it. On the outside of a garment stitch in the groove or well formed by the seam.

Oh--that's a term I'm well familiar with! Thanks, Mary. I just recently bought a special foot for stitching in the ditch which works just great for accuracy and staying right on the seam. I don't know if you're familiar with it, but it has an extension in the front which helps you guide the fabric along just perfectly.
