OK ladies I know you are thinking "What happened to March?" I promise I will post that in a few days.
What I need here is some input. The idea for April is to make and trade your favorite thing that you whip up as quick gifts or money makers for craft fairs. What I need to know is if you ladies would like this to be a one on one swap or a group swap. And if you choose group how big of a group.

I didn't officially vote in the poll because I couldn't decided yet. When we're talking small crafted or sewn item what are we meaning, because that would affect my decision. If it's something that only takes an hour or so, I wouldn't mind doing it for several. But, sometimes a small crafted item can take hours and hours because of all the detail work. So, can I have a narrower definition?

Ticia, who probably will not be participating because by that point I will have two new babies, but wish I could

Gee Ticia,
You could be working on the small detailed items now, while you can't go anywhere or do anything big. :bluewink: Then when April comes all you will have to do is mail them off. I am sure you don't have any baby items in the works or anything. :bg:

Take care of yourself and the babies. I was lucky and only had to be in bed for two weeks, one of them in the hospital, but I know I got VERY bored, VERY fast.

Siwian is right Ticia you could work on yours now. This swap is for those easy things you can whip up real fast, like pin cushions or something similar. Someone here on the boards does these really cute chickens and that is what I was thinking about when I came up with this idea.

Okay, so I probably could get it done beforehand, that would imply that I'm going to actually finish stuff that I'm working on. My Mom suddenly realized that since I'm bedridden I could finish the stocking she promised me that SHE'D make me back when I was getting married! She forgot just how long those Bucilla stockings can take to do, and she's not all that good at sitting and doing them.
So, you're saying pin cushoins, and little things like that. How about needle holders, or other such things? I'm just trying to get an idea of what type of things.

Ticia,

This is really up to you what you make. I don't plan any strict rules on this one. If you enjoy making needle holders than by all means make needle holders. It doesn't even have to be something to use in your sewing room. I myself still have no clue what I plan to make.

Hi Gina,
I'd love to be part of this swap. I have a wonderful idea for "spring"! My vote would be for 5 or less.

Sounds like fun! It gives me motivation to pick up the pace on some bigger projects on my desk, so I can clear space for a handful of quick no-brainers! I'll be looking for that post.
