no one is home!!! That's me...Today's smocking site sent us to the home page...I didn't know that there was one!!! Somehow or other, I just wandered (or stumbled) onto Sew What's New and just loved the commen sense and people here...

Of course, I read about lessons being given and often wondered when they would start!!!

I promise you that I am not a natural born blond! (Apologies to the smart blonds..) Now I have the whole rest of the forum to discover...

Hi, Mo, I see that you finally received the serger that you have coveted...If I ever need someone to haggle prices, I'm calling on you!! I paid full price..but I think that you enjoyed the hunt too...Enjoy your Evolve..My goal for this month is to work through the workbook and lots of the hints that I have downloaded from various sites....Just finished working my way through Anne Campbells workbook for Customising Plus for my Viking D1 (she is an awesome educator..) And also just finished a 6 week course on beginning machine quilting...Am I hyped!!! How in the world am I ever going to do everything that I want??? Figure if I spend the time to learn the serger, then it won't take so much time on my projects...

And Susie, I see that you are from Chalmette..I grew up in River Ridge, went to school in New Orleans; and now live in Lutcher for 35 years...small world, huh??
Love this site...even more now that I know that there is more to it...duh!!..lol...
