I have 2 questions:

1) Do you prewash it?

2) Would chenille on one side and broadcloth on the other be thick enough for a baby blanket?

Thanks so much!

I make a chenille vest and line it with a very nice batiste.
I believe for a baby blanket it would be nice to use a nice quality soft flannel. Maybe even in a cordinating baby print. So many beautiful flannels are available now.You do need to wash all fabrics before construction. Best of luck to you.
