Why don't you go to Joann.com and register. They have on line coupons and/or sometimes, free shipping :) They will send the flyer to your house and you can order from the comfort of your home (but it is addictive!)

You can also sign up online and recieve coupons and a flyer from JoAnn's by mail Every month. There is 40% off every month with these flyers. Also, if you join the ASG (American sewing Guild) you will recieve another 10% off all your purchases from JoAnn's, Nancy's Notions, Hancock's Fabric and more. It's only 40.00 to join for the year and 35.00 to renew every year if you renew before your membership expires. I've saved my 40.00's worth in the three months since I've joined. www.asg.org is the website.

i had gotten an email from joanns before with a printable coupon, i asked how they know if i didnt print it a million times.. (the girl knows me)..she said the bar code numbers are different...so if you all were able to use the coupon let me know...it might be different if we all live in different areas not using the same joanns... :monkey: very interesting

Ladies the bar code number is the same in the online coupons. So if you print out 20 coupons you can use them all, even at the same store!!! Now the problem is this, you cannot use the same coupons at the same time. For an example you cannot use 3 of the online coupons on 3 cuts of fabric on the same cutting slip. The system will reject it. Now I work at JoAnn's and we would help the customer out. Yep it is illegal I know but heck they were regulars and on a tight budget. Now if you have an online coupon, one that came with your flyer, and one that is in the newspaper you can use all 3 at once. Another thing with the coupons any other discount does not apply.

Just bring your Joanns' and Michael's and use both at the same time for two different items?

I signed up at www.joanns.com but I don't get them anymore. I happen to frequent a lot of forums and newsgroups and find them once in a while.

here's another tip on using more of your 40% off coupons... present one of your 40% off coupons at the cutting desk... they will take the 40% off right there... then you can use another of that same 40% off coupon on another item when you get to the checkout... granted, you probably can't use it on another fabric cut, but you can use the same printed e-mail coupon on something else...

another former joann's employee...

Mo - I tried that but they rip the coupon at the cutting desk :( That's okay cuz I use Michael's coupons with Joann's ...

I checked the Joann's sign by the customer service or cashier .. you can see it will say something like " ... we will honour competitor's coupons ..." etc ... bring your Michael's coupons - it's fun!

If you get the Sunday paper with all the stuff in it, a JoAnn's flyer will be in there too. Michaels coupons are not for fabric tho, Michaels doesn't sell fabric like JoAnn's so save that for something else.

Our paper only has Joann's ads around the holidays.

If I have two 40% off coupons, I take my hubby with me..............I give him my item I want to use the coupon on and he goes to one register and I go to another one. It sounds like it is not a nice thing to do but if I made two trips I could use two coupons...........Wish Michaels did sell fabric. I think Joann's could use some competition in our area.

I heard a cashier tell a lady that they didn't take Michaels coupons because they were not in competition with Michaels because Michaels didn't sell fabric....................yet had another one tell me to bring my Michaels because they took it........so if they tell you NO question them.

If you have your coupons from your home mailing, and a coupon from the internet, and a coupon from your newspaper all 3 are different coupons. You can use them all at the same time. JoAnn's doesn't take Michael coupons on fabric but will take them on other things so use them too. As long as the coupons are from DIFFERENT sources you can use them at the same time.

I've gone to Joann's with my flyer coupon, a printed coupon that Joannn's emails me and coupons from different sites that carry Joann's coupons and haven't had any problems at my store using them all. Not long ago I went in with 4-50% coupons and used them all.
