|so last night was my first class on making an heirloom daygown..im doing one for a child who would be 6 mos..last night we lace insertion i guess it would be considered the front part on the chest..im not good with the names here yet so im sorry if this is choppy...but i loved it..very challenging to put little pieces of lace together...i was so proud of myself at the end of the night!! i have no self confidence when it comes to making anything from a new pattern..i do so much better if someone is around to ask questions too...i didnt realize how much $$$ this class would end up costing me, but im thinking it will be well worth it!!! just had to tell someone how excitied i am that actually knew what i was talking about...heh||

Hey viciouskittie, that is super. Heirloom sewing is not for the faint of heart. You are doing quite fine. This might just be the beginning of a happy sewing time for you. Keep it up.

I envy you-taking this class must be very interesting! I love the Heirloom clothing for it's so very pretty! Seems it always cost a lot to get started in something new but if you're going to keep at it, it is very worth it. I would love to see this gown! I'll bet you could sell these gowns on Ebay or wherever you want to and do good at it.
I just love it when I get into something interesting and don't want to put it down until I'm finished! It means I'm really intersted in what I'm doing. Some times I have stayed up until 2 am working on projects.
What is your next project going to be?

Hi, I was wondering how was your heirloom day gown coming along.? Are you finished and on your next project?
