so last night was my first class on making an heirloom daygown..im doing one for a child who would be 6 mos..last night we lace insertion i guess it would be considered the front part on the chest..im not good with the names here yet so im sorry if this is choppy...but i loved it..very challenging to put little pieces of lace together...i was so proud of myself at the end of the night!! i have no self confidence when it comes to making anything from a new pattern..i do so much better if someone is around to ask questions too...i didnt realize how much $$$ this class would end up costing me, but im thinking it will be well worth it!!! just had to tell someone how excitied i am that actually knew what i was talking about...heh |

Hey viciouskittie, that is super. Heirloom sewing is not for the faint of heart. You are doing quite fine. This might just be the beginning of a happy sewing time for you. Keep it up.

Vicious Kitty, I envy you-taking this class must be very interesting! I love the Heirloom clothing for it's so very pretty! Seems it always cost a lot to get started in something new but if you're going to keep at it, it is very worth it. I would love to see this gown! I'll bet you could sell these gowns on Ebay or wherever you want to and do good at it. I just love it when I get into something interesting and don't want to put it down until I'm finished! It means I'm really intersted in what I'm doing. Some times I have stayed up until 2 am working on projects. What is your next project going to be? |

Hi, I was wondering how was your heirloom day gown coming along.? Are you finished and on your next project? Arub "The struggle is not greater than the goal". Be blessed. Stay encouraged.
