Right now I'm doing A LOT of crocheting. I just finished an American Flag afgahan, complete with 50 individual stars. Took me about 3 months! While my daughter decides on the yarn for the afgahan she wants me to make for her, I'm doing pot holders, dish cloths and hot pads. I just finished 3 purses, one for me and each of my daughters. My husband and I just got new chairs, so I'm making arm covers. I have a list a mile long of yarn I want to buy this weekend....OH MY!

RaeinNC, hi and welcome to Sew Whats New.

I crocheted a few things when my kids were small but I always had problems with stretching. Everything was all out of shape after I washed it the first time.

I crocheted an afghan for my DS when he was little. It was a clown made from granny squares that were 2 and 1/2inches square and had to be sewn together, all 450 of them. The color pattern of the square made the shape of the clown. It was a lot of work but DS loves it still and he is 27.
