Yes, this is the time of year when Brits go mad for charity.
All across the country in major superstores red noses - this year with hair like a kooshi - have been on sale. The proceeds of which go to Comic relief. This is a wild time when all sorts of people get sponsored to do daft things in order to raise money for those less fortunate than ourselves and supports projects at home and abroad.

is the link to doscover that on Friday many staid ,stiff upper lip British persons will be wearing BIG HAIR and rd noses at work, school, hospitals - all day. One year we wore pants on our heads across the country - I ask you!
It started with a simple red nose, then the next time they had arms and legs, one was like a tomato, one was furry, you could attach them to your cars, they even had Really Big ones for houses.
It's a national fun day - one of the sternest teachers in my school is having his head shaved, many of us will be wearing red and looking daft. What can I say.
love and kisses, Jan

Spiked hair and red knickers in my hair! I'm not getting sponsored for anything this year but am supporting the maths teacher with no hair and making him a silly hat. Red noses are not for sale in my town which is a bit sad but they are only available at a few outlets. Our school is having a non uniform day - which means you pay to not wear uniform. Last time we had a Bad Hair Day (bad 'air in aid of asthma research) I had much longer hair and had it mussed and braided, wore long lace up leather boots, leather skirt, graffi tank top with a mesh overshirt and looked like trailer trash on speed (a very bad Cindy Lauper)
I may dress as a goth - long black/red lace up dress and huge biker boots with a black and red cape. Scarily all these clothes are available as normal wear in my house.....not very practical for working in a lab tho'
love and kisses, Jan
