Simplicity 4878 knit top (http://bchboergoats.homestead.com/sewing1.html)

I hadn't expected this top to turn out so well on the first try with this pattern, but I was happy with it. Wore it today to work with (homemade) black cord slacks. I was having so much fun once I cut it out that it sorta' surpassed a couple of UFOs, which I am trying to finish tonight.

I also put those travel pillows on the same page. I hijacked one of our goat pages. I was getting the pics too big with this new fancy camera before on the picture hosting site.

G'Night from Ohio!

Hey Mamagoose that's a great blouse. I get carried away lots of times with things like easy projects you just can't put down when you should be doing something else.

The blouse is a pretty color also, what kind of fabric is that you used?

Thanks ladies!
I believe it's a poly/cotton from clearance ($1/yd) at JoAnn's probably 2003/04 and the black is a poly/rayon. I might have used a slinky for black if I had to do it again, just because there's a little sheen in the color. Total cost was probably less than $2. I do use $10/yd fabric sometimes, but this one "paid" for part of my hobby!
