My pregnant daughter (hurray!!!) had seen on tv or read in a magazine (Martha Stewart) about how to make those cute little knit caps from an old sleeve off an adult t-shirt. I've tried to search it out on the MS web site but had no luck. Anyone have any ideas how this is done? Laura

Here are instructions for fleece hats for babies. Perhaps you could work with them, just substitute the fleece for a sleeve. http://www.marthastewart.com/page.jhtml?type=content&id=channel1403&catid=cat357&navLevel=4 MaryW

The article I think she is referring to is on page 70 of the MS BABY Spring 2002. Anyways, it tells how to make a bib, burp cloth, hat, and cap. Some really cute stuff. Feel free to send me a pm, and I will see if I can scan you a copy. |
