Help! I'm having problems sealing the seams on the Gore Tex jacket I'm making. The tape I purchased on line indicated that the side of the tape with the shine, was the adhesive side, but it won't stick. I'm using a teflon pressing sheet on top. Any hints?

I'd suggest you call one of the online outerwear fabric stores. Most are willing to help, even if you didn't buy from them. Try googling that phrase. nancy |

thank you for your suggestions - I did call an Outerwear Texile store. Seams (excuss the pun) I was using steam to apply tape - not recommended. Also, importantly, the tape will only adhere to the coating on the back of the waterproof breathable fabric such as GoreTex. The areas where the seam allowance enclosed piping tape would not stick, so you have to lay seam to one side only so that the coating is available for adhesion. Hope this helps anyone else deal with this neat product.
