I just had to share my find. As some of you know, I found that I like to machine applique blocks. Well, in my travels today, I stopped at another little out-of-the-way quilt shop. There I found a series on the Great Lakes Lighthouses. I purchased 6 patterns of the lighthouses in N. Lake Huron. Plus she is ordering (as she was out) one other and the Mackinac Bridge. I'm so excited as these lighthouses that I purchased my DH & I use for navigating as we sail and fish on Lake Huron. I thought I would make these blocks in a attic window for a quilt. It will be awhile before I get started, as I'm finishing my first attic window block wall-hanging for my daughter & son in-laws anniversary. Then I have about 3 other BOMS I need to do. Also, keeping up with my quilting lessons here. Geez, this is beoming addicting.
Happy sewing/quilting/crafting

That is a wonderful find, Liz. I have been looking for Michigan Lighthouses for my sister. They are not easy to find.

Carolyn, If you are still looking I can send you the name of the company. There was an email address on the back of the pattern. The company was out of Linden, Michigan. They also had a lot of Lake Michigan Lighthouses. Happy sewing/quilting/crafting

Hi, I would like to contact that company too. My hubby loves lighthouses and we live near Lake Huron so I would love to make him a lighthouse wall-hanging quilt. Violet I've decided to live forever - so far, so good.
