My website is bombing in that I'm not reaching any potential shoppers--only people from jewelry, knitting and sewing craft forums I belong to, and they aren't interested in buying my products since everyone makes their own. It was suggested to me that I join some shopaholic and fashion forums. I searched Yahoo groups, and it listed 5,000 forums for fashion alone! I got through paging about 400 descriptions and got sick of looking. I'm wondering, do any of you belong to some interesting group discussions that might also attract customers interested in purchasing one-of-a-kind art-to-wear jewelry, knits and clothing? I'd like to participate, not only because I'm hoping to attract business by including my signature to my website with each post, but also because I have always been passionate about fashion and think, beside creating, the main reason for living is to get up in the morning and put together an artistic, self-expressive ensemble. Your stuff sounds like it would do really well at craft shows and fairs! You might also try putting up flyers at local fabric/craft stores. As for websites, I can't think of any where people go who are interested in custom jewelry. My craft is sewing so I guess I just never came across any. But, if I find any I'll let you know. Good luck! |

Do you know of any specific women's fashion or shopping group forums? Literally, 5,000 came up when I typed in fashion and shopping in Yahoo group's search mode. I'd be grateful for any specific forum names anyone can point me over to join. Amy http://www.thewearwithall.com |

Have you thought about creating a virtual store on ebay? There are some cool ones there and your stuff would definately fit in!
