My husband has pulled a button off the front of his brand new blazer. Rescued the button but for the life of me I cannot figure out how to get into the blazer to resew the button. There are no thread marks visible on the facing so they were sewn from underneath but I've spent 10 minutes looking for the opening where the lining was closed up. I found a spot in each of the sleeves but nothing in the body. Anybody know where I should be looking or how in the world this was done?
Thanks.

If it is a shank button, then it can be done, if you are very careful, on the surface of the garment.. You have to make sure all your stitches are hidden underneath the button..

What a great idea! I would never have thought of that. Thanks. I'll try it right now.
