I wanted to post a picture of a double irish chain baby quilt I finished but when I went to post it the message said it could only be 1 Byte and my picture was too big. Do I have to post it on a website and then post the url? or am I doing something wrong? Thanks for any help, Rhonda |

Yes. The picture must be somewhere else and you put in the url. I have one of those free webpages that I put my pictures on just to post them here.

I resized my in Paint Shop Pro, which I know some of you are going huh? Any picture/photo program will work as long as you can resize to the 75 by 75. I do not have my own web page. After I had it resized I saved it where I knew I could find it, and hit the browse button to go where I saved it and added it. Summer Summer

Yes. The picture must be somewhere else and you put in the url. I have one of those free webpages that I put my pictures on just to post them here. I'm trying out a new site to store pictures on. You get 50mb free disk space. If you choose at the bottom of each page of your pictures to Show Direct Links: ON OFF It will give you the "technical" information to be able to post pics on forums and other websites. For Example here is a pic of my baby. I adopted her almost a year ago from an Animal Shelter. Her name is Molly. http://www.yesalbum.com/v001/SailorLiz/Misc/molly.jpg On my signature here on the bottom is the website. If you go to my album and choose misc. you will see my avatar and this picture of Molly. Happy sewing/quilting/crafting

Yahoo Photos doesn't support this feature. It is called Image or File Linking. They prefer that everyone visit their site in order to see the ads and maybe purchase a print from them of the pics you are looking at. The site I'm testing is more for us geeks, that want to use the pics for other than a photo album. We can store the pictures here and have them come up on another website without using their disk space to store the pic. This saves $$ for having your own personal website or blog. A lot of them charge you for the space and bandwidth that you use, once you go over the initial free usage and/or free time trials. Happy sewing/quilting/crafting
