I have never had to do this before but there is a first for everything....

Here are the directions
Mark small arrows along both selvages indicating direction of nap or design. (since there is none i dont have to worry about this) Fold fabric crosswise with RIGHT sides together, and cut along fold. Turn one fabric layer around so arros on both layer so in the same direction. Place right sides together.

Since this is all white fabric do i really have to do this cant i just fold the fabric with selvages on the each side and place my pattern peices and cut???

Jada, the layout you're describing is for fabric with nap (i.e., velvet, corduroy, etc. or fabric that has a directional design on it). Unless you are working with fabric that has a nap or one way design, you don't need to do that.

Been here, there and sick with the flu. DH and I both had it the same week. Wouldn't wish that on my worst enemy. I was sorry to hear about your brother Mary. I hope you and your family are doing okay now.

Had to take a time out and do a suit for Easter and just been mostly trying to recuperate from the darn flu bug then I had a probelm with my blood pressure. For some unknown strange reason, when I started getting over the flu my blood pressure would suddenly take a nose dive and I would have to sit down wherever I happened to be at the moment or risk falling on my face in a dead faint. It seems to have gotten a little bit better the last couple of days unless I get up too fast from a sitting position or bend over for very long. Oh well, I guess that comes with being a "senior citizen".

Several people around here had the blood pressure complications with the flu. There was also a problem with sudden onset pneumonia. Glad to hear that you are better. It's a good thing you didn't have costumes to do for an Easter pagent this year...that might have been a problem.
