There are a number of excellent videos/DVDs available. What I have done is go to the local library and see what is available there. If I find I like a certain teaching style, then I look for more by that particular person. It is possible with many library systems to find out what is available at other library locations and have them reserved for you and sent to your nearest library to be picked up. It can be a wonderful resource.

I just started quilting this year and I have found that DIY network has a ton of sewing and quilting shows on. I have a season pass on my tivo that records them for me then when I get time to watch them I save them to a vhs tape for later use, I have learned a ton from the shows. Good luck
