Sorry all that I am not on the ball with this swap. I've been playing outside in my yard. The weather here has been beautiful lately. We have seven swappers. Should I break it up into two groups or would you all be OK with sending out six items?

I can send out 6-do they all need to be the same thing?

Been high 80's here this week, nice but starting to push the warm mark, still won't put my a/c on until it's consistently 95 or so. the fans work well until then

Six is fine with me. It was nice here for 5 days but it is raining now. I spent the 5 nice days camping in Fla. with some HS students. I will have to get somethings made today and tomorrow. My DH took the girls and went on a roadtrip this morning. (Sometimes cancelled flights can be a blessing in disguise.) He was going to leave the girls here because of the cost. But he got a one way rental car for $20.00 and unlimited mileage, so the girls got to go with him. Its nice and quiet here now.

Have you send the names and addresses out yet? If you did, could you send them to me again as my husband probably got rid of the e-mail.

I haven't sent the lists out yet. You're right, I have been out in the yard. I have also been working on my items for this swap and planning my outfit for the contest here on the site. On top of all that my hubby had PRK surgery on Thursday. I have bitten off a tad more than I can chew. I'll try to get the lists out to you by Monday.

Well, started feeling bad about running behind so.......pushed myself and everything is done and even in the mail this afternoon! Funny that it costs different amounts to ship the same item to different places in the country. You tell me. Oh well. All should arrive in the next few days.

been home sick the last couple days so today I tried to get everything done I should have been doing over the last several days. headed back to work tomorrow. Could use a few more days off but.......

Hope you all enjoy what I've made.

I'll mail out on Friday. The month has gone by so quickly. I had some problems getting to my supplies. I knew what I wanted to do but had to change my project since my sewing/craft room is overrun with "stuff" and my storage area has been jumbled up and I can't get to my tools and supplies. I hope everyone likes what I decided on.

I got mine from Carolyn. It is great. My daughters really like it, too.

I missed the post office mail time yesterday, so I decided it was a sign to add one more little thing.(something I wanted to include but didnt' have time) GEE, it sure takes a long time to add One little item to six packages. Oh well, I will drop them at the post office this afternoon-cause I missed our mail person at the house. But now I have sealed them up and cannot add anything else. Sorry I'm later than I said I would be.

I don't have a good excuse...I put it off until the last minute :bang: , but I am finished now. I just finished them up and packaged them but am too tired to run to the post office. I am going to bed now, if I go right now I can get a full five hours, and I will stop at the post office in the morning on the way home from work.

Carolyn, Gina and Lynn,
I received your packages this weekend and today, and they are awesome! Thank you all so much.

Jada,

You mentioned in your post earlier that you had taken down your packages to the mailroom. Is this at your place of work? Maybe they got it out a day later or the USPS is running slow. Give it time, I'm sure they willl arrive.

I recieved Mary's and Liz's packages today. Thank you, ladies. They are great. I'm putting part of Liz's package to use right away. I've been using a piece of scrape paper from the packages I sent.

Thank you again,
Peggy

Mary, received your package today. So cute! Thank you!

Jada, give a few more days, if you mailed from work it probably didn't really go out the same day you put it there.

Bonus day in the mail today! Received my items form Peggy & Jada. Both very nice! Thank you!

Hogmami, you summed them all up well, altho Liz also sent that cute little star made out of fabric...it's hanging in my sewing room near my machine so I can think of her when I see it. Jada, your little bag is headed to work so I don't have to keep digging through my desk drawer to find my nail file, lipstick, etc. You also forgot to mention the nice item you sent.....a scissor holder & what I call a chair sewing kit-I've already got it filled with a pair of scissors, the quilt thread I'm using to hand quilt something for my daughter, needles & a pincushion!

Thanks to everyone....all are lovely gifts and I will think of each of you as I look at and use your items!

This was such a fun swap, Thanks Gina for hosting!!!

Jada,

Thank you for the beautiful case. I have a PDA and I needed a new case for it. This will work perfectly.

I just wanted to say, I really enjoyed this swap. It was exciting to see what everyone made. I have put all of it too good use. I have everything in my sewing room (except for the case that I'm carrying my PDA in). I noticed that some of you sent the instructions along with your project. I didn't think of that, when I made the stars. If anyone wants it, I will find it again on the internet, and then you can print them. Have a great day!

Jada's package came yesterday. (I didn't get the computer though till this morning.) It is so cute. Thank you. I haven't decided how to use it yet. I always carry little bags inside of big ones though. so I know it will be in use soon.

I have really enjoyed this swap!!! It is so interesting to see what other people enjoy making.

So does everyone have everything or do we still have a few people waiting?
