I want to sew a costume for my 3 y.o. daughter. No, she doesn't want to be a princess... or a fairy. No - it's either nude fireman or ninja. Anyone know where to find a child's ninja pattern? Yes, I know I could probably make something up. But - I want a pattern nevertheless.

Thanks for any help! - Kelly

I don't have a ninja pattern, but I do have a gi (ge) ?? pattern.. (karate pattern) if that will help.. I can give you that number.. It has the top made similar to a kimono top with a sash..

Oh! I think it would be cool to make a modified gi with the top out of maybe an embroidered chinese style fabric and the pants out of a matching solid. Don't know if your dd would go for that, but you could do it to be very stylishly girl ninja.

Libby - I would like that pattern number. That would be great!

Right now she's demanding a kitty costume. And slave-driving me on her Drive-In Dress. I'm just happy to be sewing for an appreciative audience!

Blackie, (and anyone else interested..)
Here is the pattern. I looked on mine and it said copyright 2003, so I was afraid I would not find it currently, but it is still there.. So, here is the link..
