I just bought a used Singer Industrial 20u33 in very good shape. I have called around to look for the needles that is recommended in the manual but haven't had any luck finding them. The owner of our local sewing machine repair shop mentioned that perhaps I should try using a regular needle.
Anyone with experience on this machine? I would greatly appreaciate any help.
Thanks,
Jennifer

Jennifer, I believe your machine takes Organ needles..possibly titanium. I saw on the Allbrands website that a Singer industrial takes Organ needles 135 x 7 sizes 9-19. You might want to check this out. I have been searching sites tonight looking up different things and happened to see this machine again on another site that said this machine takes needle system 1901..?? Oh well, now I am confused and have not been of much help.

Thanks for the replies! I finally came up with a phone number of a industrial dealer in Minneapolis and the owner gave me the information I needed. Kylynne2, you were just about on the money! This machine needs a 135 x 5.
Still love to hear from anyone who has used or owns this model (Singer Industrial 20u33).
