|Help! i told my boyfriend I would sew this sheet and now I'm stuck. I have the two peices sewn together but now I'm trying to sew the bottom part with the elastic and I'm not sure how to go about doing it.||

|Why not sew on wide bias tape to the bottom of the fitted sheet you made & thread elastic through the bias tape. That would be the easiest thing to do, I would think.||

It has been a long time since I have seen on of them. I had one and remember how hard it was to make the sheets. I uses a wide Zig -Zag stitch and sewed the elastic around forming a big circle. It looked like a puffy hat but it fit very well and did not slip up.
Good luck and let us know how it turns out.
