Help! i told my boyfriend I would sew this sheet and now I'm stuck. I have the two peices sewn together but now I'm trying to sew the bottom part with the elastic and I'm not sure how to go about doing it.

Why not sew on wide bias tape to the bottom of the fitted sheet you made & thread elastic through the bias tape. That would be the easiest thing to do, I would think.

It has been a long time since I have seen on of them. I had one and remember how hard it was to make the sheets. I uses a wide Zig -Zag stitch and sewed the elastic around forming a big circle. It looked like a puffy hat but it fit very well and did not slip up.

Good luck and let us know how it turns out.
