I would Seriously like to thank Mother Nature for this really .. really bad belated April Fools joke..
It's been snowing here for the past two solid days. :bang:
but .. I am glad that I didnt put away all the winter gear.. being Canada and all we dont generally do that until July.. because you never know.
Anyhow.. just venting.. it's been a hell of a weekend and I've survived it.
My car broke down and I got my kids out and got home thought the grace of a passing neighbour. While I was arranging to have my brother in law recieve it for repair.. and arranging a tow. It was impounded.
I live in the country so in order to get it out of jail and have it towed for repair.. I have to get to town to get it.. Without a car... lol
Luckly I've had a few things fall into place and I think things will get managed tomorrow. A better day for all considering the snow will have stopped and the road conditions will have improved greatly.
While I was feeling down and sorry for myself, I thought I would check out the site because sewing always soothes me. Turns a negative into a positive. Great therapy...
thanks..
Tomorrow is another day..
and a better one.

Man! I know what living in the country is like...when I was a kid this was never never land...now, the city is HERE...at least the population is. My "city" friends used to make cracks about me living in the sticks. Anyway, when you are without a car in the country it is a REAL problem. (That's why I joined an auto club.) When our car got over 200,000 miles on it, I think I was using every week. I hope you have lots of firewood, food, fabric, thread and good friends to get you through the crisis.
