I just finished a bias skirt for my DD. It is for summer in an office. Very lt. weight and swishy. I have to let it hang for 24 hrs. before I hem it. If I can get my camera to work, I will post a pic of it. Very pretty floral print. I think I have enough to make a top too.

I'm sure it'll look great. I love bias skirts, I have quite a few, some with waistbands, some with elastic. I've got lots of light drapey fabric just waiting to be turned into more of them. The only thing I don't like about them is having to wait 24 hours b4 you can hem them, that's a pain. I like to finish something all in one sitting if I can! |

I'm glad I saw this post. I bought fabric and a pattern for a bias skirt. I didn't realize it had to hang 24 hours before hemming. THANKS |

The skirt turned out lovely but a little snug for my daughter. Guess who gets a very nice floral bias skirt for summer.

You did that on purpose, didn't you... Now don't give us that innocent look. Take care,
