After I download a design, I can't open it in PES format without some kind of program designation to do that. How do I go about doing that? There are a lot of really cute designs for free out there and I'd like to try one but I'm STUCK. Can anyone help??
Thanks.

most designs come zipped....you need to unzip it...winzip is free, for a time...BuzzTools/BuzzXplore (you have to pay for, but they unzip, convert, catalog)

WINZIP says you have to pay for it after a certain length of time. but Idon't think I've ever actually met anybody who has paid for it... It just keeps right on working...

Thanks for your replies. I was able to download and use designs from www.embroideryonline.com . Those files came with Winzip and unzipped the files for me when they came.
