Does anyone know if I may attend the Paducah AQS show without pre-registering? I'm a new member and failed to note that preregistration was suggested. Should I waste the gas money and risk getting turned away at the front door? (Of course it's the 11 1/2th hour and I can't get anyone to answer the phone!) Thanks!

I really don't have an answer for you but a friend of mine from Mo. is going. She said they are expecting at least 36,000 people to go. If your not too far away I'd at least try if it were me. Good luck. I'll e-mail her & see if she knows the answer.

If you need a hotel room you're more than likely out of luck, but if you're able to go, by all means girl, GOOOOOO!!!! It's the mecca of quilting. Be sure and go to Hancocks-Paducah while you're there.

My friend answered back. She said you don't have to regester. Said there isn't much parking but to go to Hancocks or other places & take the trolley. Motels can tell you how she said. If it was me & I was going to stay over, I'd check out the motels in that area on the internet to book one. Hope you get to go.
