How do I make the neckline of a v-neck lie flat at the "V"? I would appeciate any advice. |

I have not had any trouble with that... I used a lightweight fusible interfacing on the facing piece, lined up raw edges and stitched. Then before turning, you can trim the seam allowance a bit closer near the V. Good luck.

Hi pawquilts and welcome to Sew Whats New. Shorten your stitch length when you are stitching around the V. Then clip right up to (but not into)the stitches and trim bulk. With some nice pressing it should lay quite flat. MaryW

When I stop stitching to turn, I take 1 stitch across before making the angle to go up on the other side of the Vee..I shorten the stitch also, the 1 stitch keeps it from puckering , gives the clipping room..
