Is machine quilting thread *just* for quilting, or can it be used for piecing also? Thanks! Take care,

I have too, but I'll admit it was quite by accident! I forgot I had my quilting thread on my machine and pieced a bunch before I noticed it. It only bothered me because I pay a little more for quilting thread and buy the cheap threads for piecing. |

Okay, thanks, Susie & Codygramma. So, it won't 'hurt' the quilt...that's good news.
Take care,

CodyGramma why would you buy cheap thread to piece a quilt with? I'm just curious? I just took a machine quilting class on Saturday and Michelle Watts stressed that the thread you use to piece a quilt with is just as important as the thread you use to quilt it with. So I'm curious since I've read your post. Patsy Patsy
