when you sew pants do you.........

sew inseams than crotch seams or,

crotch seams and then inseam?

I know people that do it both ways, I have done it both ways ,but like doing the inseam then the crotch. I think that the pants hang better when done this way ( legs than crotch).

I have done it both ways, too. And I like the inseam than crotch method best.

I think the construction is smoother if you do inseam then crotch. The other thing is that I rip more crotches than inseams. When it comes to repair, the crotch being sewn last is a whole lot easier.
