Can someone post some pointers on how to alter the crotch when it's too deep on a store bought pair of pants. Thanks.

The only way I know of to shorten a crotch in ready made pants is to remove the waistband and shorten from the top. I have a couple of pairs of rtw pants that I need to do that to but I keep putting it off.
