I have made a quilt (for hanging as a decoration) for my daughter from a "underwater scene" print. The outline follows an irregular path around various fish etc. Question: how do I stabilize it so that it can be hung without ripples or folds? It's roughly 3ft by 2 ft. Thanks in advance for any suggestions. |

Can you put a heavier dowel along the back bottom of the quilt to keep it straight/flat?
Take care,

I've made a few Christmas wallhangings from odd shaped panels. A Santa, a snowman, a pumpkin, etc. The directions said to take a wire coat hanger, and open it up like a circle or oval. Leave the hanger part to hang it on the wall. (You can bend it to make a smaller hanger) Tack it down in several places on the back of the wallhanging. On a larger one, I cut the bottom middle part and made it horseshoe shaped before I tacked it down. Hope this helps. |

If it's odd shaped....maybe tacking fishing weights would help it to hang straight....(fishing weights are great for lots of odd things...)
