A kindergarten teacher who is a friend of mine told me a funny story. One of her students has a hard time fastening his pants after he goes to the bathroom and usually comes walking up to her for help. She's tried and tried this year to help teach him how to fasten them as well as tying his shoes, etc. He had a certain pair of jeans that he wore pretty often that were getting too small. One day after wrestling to get those jeans fastened on him, the teacher told him, "Tell your mom not to let you wear these pants to school anymore. They are getting too small and are hard to fasten." The next day she asked him if he had told his mom what she said. He said, "Yes ma'am". She asked him, "What did she say?" He said, "She said you could kiss her big fat... um...butt." |

I use to love the Art Linkletter program Kids say the darnest things. Out of the mouth of babes. I thought you were going to say she said, "If she thinks you need a new pair of pants, then tell her go buy them." My grandson is hard on his pants I'm always mending them, come to think of it so are the granddaughter. They grow up so quick you hate to buy a new pair at the end of the year for fear next year they won't fit but sometimes it's unavoidable. And these kids around here have to have uniforms and they are some husky or plus sizes so that means 20.00 or more a pair. Thanks for the chuckle Bama. Crayfish are good right now tell your hubby. Or I bet he know that though. LOL |
