I'm new this forum. Anyway I just received a Singer touch and sew machine with no manual(model number 756). Cant seem to figure how to wind the bobbin or how to thread the darn machine. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Here is the Singer web site address~Singer Site (http://www.singerco.com/)

Check there and see what you can find. I tried that model number you posted but you might have better luck since you know what your machine looks like.

Hope that helps~

I know there are places on line you could probably get the manual for your 756. You might want to check Sew4Less. I had a 756 years ago and I loved that machine. The bobbin winds in place. After threading the machine, you take the needle thread and wrap it around the thumb screw a few times,I think the bobbin has a lever you switch to the side..then just sew in place and the bobbin fills. Your bobbin also comes apart to throw away small excesses of threads. This machine can do an extremely long basting stitch. If I remember correctly you had to do this stitch with the needle positoned to the right. I wish I could remember more about the machine, I had it in the late 70's. I hope you enjoy your machine

This site should help you, and if you need to "talk" to a tech that really knows T-n-S machines, Terry is the one.

I looked and looked for that other model number..... :whacky:
Since you changed it to 756 (http://www.singerco.com/accessories/manuals.html) here is the link to the correct manual.

Good luck!

Glad you joined the group~

There ya go..Bill came through again with that site. I went to the site and saw the 756..it brought tears to my eyes. I miss that machine, I loved it so much. I had to sell mine years ago. I was raising 6 kids and needed money for food. It sure was nice to see this machine again in a lovely colored picture of it...:)
