I am having trouble finding a Invisible zipper that is even close in color to the material I am using, Cornflower Blue- very close to this color blue  that is in this icon.
There is one that is a gray-blue but is 20" long. Can not find a shorter one anywhere. Does anyone know of any speciality shops that would carry a better selection of zippers?
I want to stay with a Invisible one if possible, it will be on a side seam and under a jacket, most of the time.
Joann's and WalMart are my only close stores, and neither have a good selection at all.
Thanks

Why not cut the one you saw in grey blue, make sure you secure the end though.
If at first you don't suceed, try-try again!

I always insert my invisible zippers with a regular zipper foot and leave the excess at the bottom. It doesn't cause a problem and the end can be tacked at the seam if you want. However you can always cut at the top as long as you secure the ends in the seam someplace. Many people cut at the bottom and bar tack the bottom of the zipper. As far as colors go for the most part if you can't get the exact color, it'll look better to go slightly darker than lighter unless the color is white).
