Don't feel bad....my husband (the geek) says I'm the only person he's ever known that can sit at a computer, turn it on and then get the 'blue screen of death' with out doing anything....and it's true...the past two days I've tried sending pics of my new furries to my sister....6 times now it's crashed...::heavy sigh:: I can send'em to myself, to my husband at work, but nowhere else...now thats weird....(I really think computers hate me....) :whacky:

Don't feel bad, when I go to Microsoft to update my computer, my system crashes. BUT only when it goes there!!!! Go figure. One program that I really need is the .Net Framework from Microsoft and my conputer refuses to even download it. Don't know just how much of the problems are on our end anymore.

i'm baaaaaaaaaaaaaack yipppeeeeeeeee :throw: i have been doing the reformatting and reinstalling of programs for nealry 6 hours now, so i am going to grab a cup of coffee and watch Idol and then catch up the boards. i think i have a very big black mark by my name in the Dell computer tech system, i had a supervisory manager call me a while ago and i actually had a dialog with him and not some script he was reading. he even was able to understand my tirade and i told him i knew i was not nice to the techs but they must also think past the script and realize what is happening on this side. hopefully this one will last longer than 3 1/2 months :bang:

May I ask why would you need Microsoft's .NET Framework? Most people won't even have a chance to use them at all. Just curious. :nosy: ;)

Oh I can sympathize with your computer problems. I think I need to wipe out my hard drive and do a reinstall but am really dragging my heels about it, I hate having to sit for hours and hours reinstalling and updating and on and on. I did find out though that one of the MS critical updates was the cause of my system crashes, and when I disabled it, it seemed to fix the problem. But I have switched my on-line brower and email program to Mozilla Firefox and Thunderbird and they have been totally fantastic. No more crashes or screen lock up since switching, or junk mail!! Anyhow hope your problems are fixed for good!! Laura
