Hello all! Well tonight, I decided to start on one of my baby bonnet patterns, as my kids were asleep and i had some time to myself. So I pulled out "granny", (yes, that IS what i call my sewing machine, she's an older gal) and i was going to thread a bobbin... but alas!!! I have not a single one that will fit my bobbin case! So now that I have my pattern pieces all cut out and pinned ready to be sewn and made pretty... they must sit there all night. as must I, and brood over my utter lack of attention to detail! So, finnaly... the question... I have an Old dressmaker machine... and i have NO idea what size bobbin it takes! This machine was given to me by my mother, and she hasn't used it in years! I don't even see a model number... just DRESSMAKER, any ideas ladies!?! help me... again! ~Krys Just when I thought it was over....

When I see bobbins in the notions catalogs, they are always with the names of the machines they will fit.. and , if a certain mfr has different bobbins they will be marked for the style name of the individual machines also..i.e. Singer 221 or Featherweight portable, or Janome Memory Craft 4000.. Those are mine, so that is what I would look for..
