Help!!!!!! After reading the posting for Basement odors, does anyone have any help for the "four-legged" odor? I have a fur ball that is being a major brat. Vet has cleared any health problems, feels that she is acting out from the loss of her brother recently. She keeps this up - she will be joining him!!!! I have tried, carpet cleaners for the machine, club soda, oxy clean, vinegar & water. HELP |

We bought some stuff at Petco that's especially made for pet urine and feces stains. I've found that it works well.

I use Carpet Fresh No Vacuum Foam Carpet Refresher...it says "Super Pet" toward the bottom of the can and "Neutralizes Pet Odors"...I've used it for years and find it works really well. I use it after every vacuuming. |

Oh, all you people with your little stinks. A skunk moved into our basement last fall. We had to call the critter getter to get her out. Now that's a stink!! The smell didn't last after the skunk was gone. Dorothy |

Is she spraying indoors? If so try detergent with an enzyme, avoid anything with amonia. If it is a painted or glass surface after a thorough wash I am told that alcohol(the drinking kind) eg vodka wiped over the surface helps. Drinking it may relief your stress though If she is offending only in one spot feed her there as cats dont like to toilet where they eat. Failing that there is kitty "prozac" available from your vet to reduce her stress levels. |

We had a problem with one of our kitties who had urinary tract problems, and used some stuff called Nature's Miracle which works pretty well. They have it at the Pet Food Store, it was a little pricey...If it is in your carpet, you have to use a lot of it because it needs to go through the carpet and padding. |
