Hi, everybody. I just wanted a few people's suggestions on fabric selection. I found this very cute tee shirt pattern from Simplicity (below) and I'm trying to find a pretty, different fabric to make the shirt of. I would make it out of the same nautical fabric that's on the pattern cover, but I have several shirts out of that fabric. I found this really cute, unique fabric on Ebay with different colored and different sized polka dots swirling around the shirt. Will this work? (It's the option with the bowtie on the neck) http://www.simplicity.com/assets/4539/4539.jpg |

So it would look similar to the t on the top as far as the pattern goes? I think that would be cute. If you are busty, it might make your bust look even bigger with the pattern. I couldn't pull that look off myself. I don't feel confident in sleeveless clothing. ( I have "the family arms" as my grandma puts it) Oh, well. Do you have a link to the fabric so I could get a better idea of what it's going to look like? Carolyn

I think the pictures on the pattern package demostrate pretty well that for this construction, anything goes. The fabric you've described sounds like fun, and there's nothing about the pattern itself that should disagree with it.
