HELP!!! I goofed and got stitch witchery gook melted onto the ironing board cover. How can I safely remove it? I thought perhaps denatured alcohol on a cotton ball, but figured I'd better ask first. It's also on the bottom of the iron. Thanks, Joni |

You can try ironing it OFF onto paper towels, paper bags and some people use, GOOP.

You can also try ironing it on freezer paper. The other trick that I use to prevent it getting on my ironing covers or pads is to iron freezer paper down first, before ironing any of those sticky interfacings. I also have used this orange solvent in a spray bottle to remove sticky stuff from clothes. I can't remember the brand name of it.
Happy sewing/quilting/crafting
