HELP!!! I goofed and got stitch witchery gook melted onto the ironing board cover. How can I safely remove it? I thought perhaps denatured alcohol on a cotton ball, but figured I'd better ask first. It's also on the bottom of the iron.
Thanks, Joni

You can try ironing it OFF onto paper towels, paper bags and some people use, GOOP.

You can also try ironing it on freezer paper. The other trick that I use to prevent it getting on my ironing covers or pads is to iron freezer paper down first, before ironing any of those sticky interfacings. I also have used this orange solvent in a spray bottle to remove sticky stuff from clothes. I can't remember the brand name of it.
Happy sewing/quilting/crafting
Liz
